Reports
A review of health records for the 2022/23 financial year and a mixed-methods study on unhealthy lifestyles were completed in July 2023. This provided data on the health needs of staff and students based on the most common diagnoses, quarterly trends, and the prevalence of unhealthy lifestyles. A manuscript on common diagnoses and disease trends at a higher education institution in Uganda is currently in the second stage of peer review by a reputable journal. An abstract on the prevalence of unhealthy lifestyles among students and staff at Busitema University was submitted for oral presentation at the 4th Annual Busitema University Science, Technology and Innovation Symposium.
